Mission Statement
OUR MISSION: The Student Activities Business Office (SABO) administers and manages the financial resources of the student government, student organizations and other similar student-focused, student driven organizations of Rutgers College and other colleges, schools and departments of Rutgers University. The SABO manages the Rutgers College Student Fund, which is comprised of Student Fees, Student Organization Generated Revenue, as well as accumulated fund income from short term and long-term investments. The Fund and the SABO provide the management and administrative infrastructure necessary to facilitate the unique needs of student organizations and the College and University departments responsible for student organizations. Because of it's close administrative ties with these departments and because of the college's commitment to it's mission of student development, the SABO is structured to offer sound financial management within a student development context, providing valuable learning experiences for student organization officers. The Fund and the SABO are focused almost exclusively on the needs of student organizations and the services offered are designed to meet their specific needs.
