What type of receipt is required for On-line purchases?
Student Organizations often purchase products on-line. On-line expenditures must comply with all policies and procedures. (see the Treasurer's Handbook for more information at http://rcsabo.rutgers.edu/handbook/handbookframe.htm). A valid receipt from on line purchases must include:
• name and address (online or mailing) of the vendor
• items purchased
• amount
• confirmation notice (usually includes a confirmation number)
• proof of payment such as "billed to" information, etc
